The only white on white '69 Dodge Coronet Hemi Super Bee known to exist with a 4-speed transmission.

GAA Classic Cars is offering the opportunity to own an ultra-rare numbers-matching 1969 Dodge Coronet Hemi Super Bee. While the car had hardly ever seen the street, this Super Bee spent most of its time at the drag strip in the late seventies. Once time and money made it hard to keep racing the car, it was parked for almost two decades with just 9,000 original miles on it. Only 92 hardtops were built for the U.S. market equipped with a 4-speed transmission, and this one may be the only one known to exist in this color combination.

Stuffed inside the engine bay is a numbers-matching 426cui Hemi V8 engine topped with a four-barrel carburetor, and it is equipped with a Ramcharger air induction with an un-silenced air cleaner package. Shifting power is provided by an A833 4-speed 18-spline transmission paired with a Hurst shifter and 11-inch clutch. The car makes 425-horsepower at 5,000-rpm and 490 ft/lb of torque at 4,000-rpm. Other mechanical highlights include a dual point distributor, a Super Track Pak Dana 60 9.75 rear axle with a 4.10 gear ratio and sure grip. Stopping is provided by front power disc brakes. The suspension consists of heavy-duty sway and torsion bars and shocks and rear springs with a torque boxed frame.

Open the doors to white deluxe bucket seats, a Charger Rallye instrument cluster that monitors all the important vital signs, and a 150-mph speedometer. Making the white interior even more appealing is the addition of contrasting woodgrain trim.

Restored back to factory standards by ABM Restorations back in 2014, this car is a Concours Gold and National first place winner at multiple events. Even more, it was picked as the Mopar's Top Eliminator in 2014, won the showcase "emerald" award, and a gold award and has racked up 997 points at MCACN.

The sale of the car comes with photo documented history that details its time as the "Hide And Watch" drag car in the '70s. All old photos, racing trophies, and documentation will also be included along with awards and recent photos showing the restoration from start to finish.

This incredible '69 Dodge Coronet Hemi Super Bee drag car is full of interesting history and has incredibly low miles from its racing days. If this would be the perfect addition to your collection, this will cross the auction block on Saturday, February 28th, 2020. Register to bid with GAA Classic Cars.
